Gal Gadot turned heads in a sequined red Givenchy gown at the premiere of Warner Bros. Pictures’ ‘Wonder Woman’ on May 25 in Hollywood. Along with her shimmering gown, the star’s unique choice of footwear also stood out.
Gadot chose a $50 pair of gold-studded thong sandals from Aldo for the premiere. When asked why she chose to wear flats instead of heels, Gadot had a really simple response.
“It’s more comfortable,” she said. Elizabeth Stalwart, Gadot’s stylist, posted a short clip of the star showing off her dress and flats, captioning it: “Wonder Woman wear flats!”
Many users on Twitter praised her for choosing comfortable footwear for the big premiere.
However, this isn’t anything new. Gadot has actually been wearing flats a lot during her press tour for the film.
She wore a pair of black flats while attending a promotional event at Build Studio on May 23 in New York City.
She was also spotted in the same pair — with a different dress — the same day in New York City.
