Princess Charlotte Is Only 2 and Already Worth Billions
Like her mother, everything Princess Charlotte wears turns to gold. That’s why Brand Finance Group, a British valuation and strategy company, estimates her net worth at a whopping $4.1 billion.
The 2-year-old is reportedly worth more than her older brother, who is third in line to the throne. At 3, Prince George has an estimate net worth of $3.1 billion.
Brand Finance’s marketing and communications director Robert Haigh says there’s a simple explanation for the wage gap. “This is actually as simple as the relative size of the men’s and women’s fashion markets, by which I mean that Charlotte’s endorsement effect will likely be felt across a much broader range of products and brands or types of clothing than will George’s, allowing a greater scope for the monetization of her ‘brand’ and hence a higher value.”
Like the Duchess’s “Kate effect,” the little princess now lends to her own “Charlotte effect.” It became apparent moments after birth when the GH Hurt & Sons shawl she was wrapped in sold out in minutes.
The young royal still has a long way to go before she surpasses her mom. According to Brand Finance, the Duchess of Cambridge has a fashion influence worth a more than $6.1 billion.
